For over 20 years, I have managed web projects and developed and designed a wide array of websites for small individual business clients to large corporations in a marketing/agency environment. I work easily within cross-functional teams from account managers to creatives to front and backend developers. In addition to HTML and CSS skills, I have experience in project management, content management, SEO, Agile/Scrum, software development lifecycle (SDLC), copywriting and editing, managing small and large teams. I have worked in several industries over my career including marketing, higher education, manufacturing, entertainment, restaurant, legal, banking, retail, and non-profit. In my limited free time, I am also an accomplished French pastry cook and have provided catering for small events and local restaurants.
Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs and implements templates and small databases for the Bank's sites while balancing the needs of business owners and site visitors against technical capabilities. Responsible for creating and maintaining web content repositories and establishing best practices for more than 60 websites. Manage all editorial content, including writing and editing, as well as researching information that enhances the value of the site. Also request and evaluate additional content from providers and communicate technical requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather feedback for website enhancements. Also manage approval and authorization of site content. Create and maintain online documentation on current web projects and supported web applications and develop internal taxonomy. Manage Google Analytics reports and optimize websites for SEO, adhering to best practices.
Provided all software and hardware support for more than 100 users at in the university’s Athletics, Human Resources and Dental School. Coordinated a department-wide ethernet wiring project, connecting off-campus offices to the main campus. Responsible for software training and support of clinic management software running on AIX system and for Windows-based applications for 100+ users. Performed regular LAN and AIX backups and maintenance. Worked as system administrator for Novell 4.x local area network and provided administrative support including management of user accounts. Installed user workstations and performed software and hardware repairs and upgrades, including replacing hard drives and installation of network interface cards.
